Glen Coe | Scotland

On an early morning in Glen Coe, I wandered the long stretches of road around these mountains, waiting for the right light. It was dreary at first, with low clouds hanging in the glen and an inversion I could see from above as I flew the drone, scouting where to go next and where the clouds might break. On the way back to the hotel to meet everyone for breakfast, I decided to drive slowly, and this scene opened up just as the sun burst through. Scotland is our favorite place in the world, and we try to get back every few years, whenever we have a little extra time. When our daughter was born, we wanted to share this place with her, and on this trip, we did.
