Wyoming
This is the wild west - wide open spaces, and mountains catering to each end of Wyoming, boxing in the flat and largely unexplored center. We drove from east to west, following the road as we watched the landscape change until we were graced by the enormity of the Tetons, towering over still lakes and creating a peaceful untamed wilderness for the large wildlife in the area. Twice Yellowstone has eluded us, but one day we will make it, we promise ourselves.
